On May 28, 2008, 72 days before the Beijing Olympic Games, China Construction Bank (CCB) launches first Olympic-themed platinum credit card – VISA Olympic Platinum Credit Card (VOPCC), tailored for medium and high-end customers. This Card has enriched CCB’s high-end credit card products.

VOPCC is reported to be the first Olympic-themed set of cards consisting of VOPCC (rare edition collection) and VISA Platinum Credit Card (VPCC) (dual currency).

The face of VOPCC (rare edition collection) is a picture of an ancient Greek head wearing olive branches, and imprints with Beijing Olympic emblem, in addition, the card is issued only before December 31, 2008, which makes it of high value of collection.

VOPCC (rare edition collection) is in US dollars. To facilitate the card holders for home use, CCB has allocated VISA Platinum Credit Card (dual currency). It has a credit line of 200,000 Yuan.
