1、QCan I buy the Traveler’s Check in RMB

AYou can’t buy the Traveler’s Check in RMB directly, but you may exchange funds in your RMB account or RMB cash into foreign currencies to buy it.

 

2、Q:What should I pay attention to after buying the Traveler’s Check?

A:You should sign your name in initial signature column on the Traveler’s Check. If you don’t sign, the bank was not responsible to compensate your loss once the check was lost or stolen, as it will be deemed as cash losses. When you cash or consume your check, you should re-sign your name in the prescribed column.

You can cash your Traveler’s Check at different times as your need to reduce the risk of cash loss.

When you cash your Traveler’s Check abroad, the cashed amount per time is restricted due to different regulations in different banks.

Please keep the Purchase Agreement and your Traveler’s Check separately. As the only ownership certificate of the Traveler’s Check, the Purchase Agreement is required when you apply for a refund.

The amount of cash brought into a country is restricted. However, the Traveler’s Check usually has no such limit but it may be required for declaration at the Customs.

Please prepare the ID certification and Purchase Agreement when you cash the check abroad

When you get accommodated during overseas business trips or traveling, it is better to use the safe of the hotel to keep your Traveler’s Check if you can not take it with you.
