CCB and Capital Group Signed Strategic Agreement

December 22,2004 - China Construction Bank Corporation (CCB) and Capital Group signed Cooperation Agreement By Bank & Enterprise,which signifies that the cooperation relations between two sides have been improved and the cooperation fields and approaches have entered a new stage. Chang Zhenming, President of CCB, and Liu Xiaoguang, General Manager of Capital Group, signed the Agreement.
Capital Group, as a large state-owned enterprise, mainly involves in the management and administration of state-owned assets within the scope authorized by Beijing Municipal Government. Since its establishment in 1994, with unremitting efforts throughout the whole group, it has successfully improved the concentrated management and scale efficiency of group resources, and eventually has enhanced its core competence. In 2003, the group's total asset amounted to RMB 35.8 billion, operating income was RMB 7.4 billion and total profit was RMB 750 million. The group is committed to developing itself gradually into an advanced international enterprise that mainly engages in infrastructure industry of the government and also undertakes businesses in other industries.  
CCB so far has experienced 50 years changes and development, growing from a specialized national bank into a shareholding commercial bank with abundant strength, improved functions, quality services and advanced technologies. CCB will make the best of its advantages and resources in the financial field to serve Capital Group and its subsidiaries in such areas as credit facility, financial consultant, investment banking, financing support and examination of engineering budget, etc. Both sides will become strategic partners based on mutual benefits and help each other to improve its brand advantages and cooperative competence.
The development of overall business cooperation between CCB and Capital Group will help the bank and the enterprise to make more contributions to the development of Beijing. And it will also promote the progress of both sides hand in hand to eventually reach a win-win goal.
