Guo Shuqing Is Appointed as the Secretary of the CPC Committee of CCB

The CPC committee of China Construction Bank (CCB) held a meeting of the CPC committee where the organization department of the CPC Central Committee declared the decision to appoint Guo Shuqing as the secretary of the CPC committee of China Construction Bank Corporation in the afternoon of March 17, 2005.

Guo Shuqing said, it is a key period for CCB to engage in share-holding transformation and development, and he is ready to make efforts to promote CCB’s transformation and development with all CCB staff hand in hand. Chang Zhenming said on behalf of all members of the CPC committee of CCB, CCB will unswervingly uphold the decision of the CPC Central Committee. He pointed out that the decision made by the CPC Central Committee to appoint Guo Shuqing as the secretary of the CPC committee of CCB shows that the CPC Central Committee attaches great importance to CCB, and it is of great significance for CCB to conduct the shareholding reform and all business step by step. He also stressed that CCB will make a joint effort to make best practices and good achievements to show CCB staff’s decision and courage.
