CCB Headquarters Holds a Report Meeting on Excellent Communists and Advanced Parties

The headquarters of China Construction Bank (CCB) held a Report Meeting on Excellent Communists and Advanced Parties in National Politic Consultative Auditorium in the afternoon of March 21, 2005. President of CCB Chang Zhenming delivered an important speech and Secretary of CCB Discipline Inspection Commission Xin Shusen chaired this meeting. Chairman of the Central Supervisory Group Wang Wenze, Deputy Chairman of the Third Instruction Group of the Central Office for Advanced Education Activities Xudong, Chairman of CCB Supervisory Board Xie Duyang, Deputy President of CCB Liu Shulan and Zhaolin, and officials from the Central Supervisory Group and the Central Office for Advanced Education Activities attended this meeting.

Excellent communists and representatives of advanced parties from party branches of CCB Beijing Branch, CCB Xiamen Branch, CCB Three Gorges Branch, CCB Xinjiang Branch and CCB Zhejiang Branch made speeches over their good deeds. Before this meeting, officials of the Central Supervisory Group and the Central Office for Advanced Education Activities met CCB’s excellent communists and representatives and praised their works.

At this meeting Chang Zhenming pointed out, CCB is at a special stage during which the sound development of the transformation, continuous increase of the profitability and progress of daily work plays a great role in improving CCB’s corporate governance structure and all communists and staff’s confidence. CCB headquarters CPC Committee hopes that all communists and employees can make joint efforts to show CCB’s courage and determination in its reform by practices and outstanding performance. Today’s report meeting is a good training for all CCB communists.

Chang Zhenming said, learning from the excellent communists and advanced parties means to learn their philosophy. All CCB communists shall make great efforts in their positions to unswervingly contribute to CCB’s development and transformation. All CCB communists shall make commitment to improving their abilities and competences by means of studying modern commercial banking knowledge and international best practices. All CCB communists shall be honest and loyal to serve CCB’s staff and clients and shall try their best to offer world-class services. All CCB communists shall make good models for all staff in line with competent rules and ethics.

Chang Zhenming stressed, CCB headquarters shall take the first step to learn from the advanced parties and make a good example for all CCB party branches. All parties shall learn the essence of the advanced parties to establish a correct world view, philosophy and value. All parties shall start from the practice and bagatelle to make good performance. All parties shall increase efficiency and quality to offer best services to all clients.

Finally, Chang Zhenming expressed his wishes: all staff shall make their commitments to offering best services to CCB clients, promoting CCB’s development and transformation hand in hand, and making contributions to social development in the light of the guideline of the new CCB CPC Committee with Guo Shuqing as Secretary.
