China Construction Bank Issues the Nankai University Dragon Card

 

On June 28, China Construction Bank (CCB) grandly issued the Nankai University Dragon Card, the second card of its kind offered by CCB jointly with well-known Chinese universities after launching the Zhejiang University Dragon Card last month. President Chang Zhenming of CCB and President Hou Zixin of Nankai University attended the agreement signing & card launch ceremony.

The University Dragon Card, which CCB puts high on its agenda this year, is one of the bank’s Dragon Debit Card (dual currency) products. Having the functions of international standard credit card and the affinity card as well, the product is widely welcomed by the faculties and students of universities. On the first day when the Zhejiang University Dragon Card was issued CCB received 1,280 applications and a large number of consulting phone calls from the university’s alumni nationwide.

Nankai University is a key university with a long history as well as the alma mater of the beloved late Premier Zhou Enlai. CCB joined hands with the university to launch the Nankai University Dragon Card less than one month after releasing the Zhejiang University Dragon Card, well demonstrating the rapid progress of CCB’s university dragon card business and the effectiveness of jointly promoting the credit card products by the Headquarters and its branches. Recently Tianjin University also signed the card issuance agreement with CCB, and both sides are selecting date to hold the card launch ceremony.
