Short Message Banking Service is the Favorite of 3.2 Million Clients
China Construction Bank Corporation (CCB) takes
great efforts in tapping financial businesses including short
message banking service and this market enjoys a bright future.
In the first half of this year, CCB has started short message
banking services at 18 CCB branches, and identified 3.2 million
clients in this field. By the end of June, CCB has sent and received
18 million short messages, with the transaction volume of RMB
33 million.
As the major part of E-banking services, short message
banking service becomes a highlight in this field. By the end
of the first half of this year, 363 billion clients have become
the short message clients of cell phone throughout the country.
Thus we can dope out good potential in this market. With the establishment
of the ¡®E-Route¡¯ brand, more and more clients become familiar
with CCB short message banking services. Meanwhile, this new type
of service also injects vigor into CCB¡¯s e-banking businesses.
At present, short message service has opened information sending,
bill payment and other functions, including 13 services: notice
for individual account change, maturity notice for individual
deposit, chasing the individual for he loan, notice for bank card
information, notice for early risk warning, individual account
enquiry, notice for finance investment information, bill payment,
payment for credit card and individual loan, corporate short message
banking services, banking marketing and products promotion, customers
relations maintenance, banking management and information. Short
message banking service plays an important role in improving service,
clients marketing, risk management and increasing efficiency,
and so far has received a favorite response from the market.
