The digital certificate ensures the security of your online
transactions. How can
you back up the digital certificate, and how can you install it
on another computer? Here
we introduce you to the import and export functions of the certificate,
using IE6.0 as an example.
1、Import (certificate
back-up)
1. Use “Internet Options (Control Panel)—Content—Certificates”
for existing certificates.

2. Select your certificate and click on “Import.”

3. Click “Next.”

4. IE asks whether to import the certificate’s private key.
Select “Yes, import the private key.”
Notes: If you select “No,” the imported certificate will
be invalid.

5. IE asks for file formats, and allows you to make multiple
selections.
Notes: If you select “activate enhanced protection,” the
imported certificate may only be used on certain IE versions or
higher, e.g. IE 5.0 or higher; you may make your selection on the
basis of your computer’s IE version.
If you select “if import succeeds, delete the private key,”
then the computer will not save the private key after you successfully
import the certificate. If
you do not need to use the computer in the future, you may make
this selection. To protect the security of your certificate,
please delete your certificate in “IE—propreties—content—certificates.”

6. Enter the certificate import password. You set the password, and will need it
when you export the certificate.

7. You may use “browse” to select the directory under which
to save the certificate. Click
“Next.” We recommend
you save the certificate onto a floppy disk or other disks.

8. Click “Next” to finish the import.

2、Certificate
Export (Certificate Installation)
Click the digital certificate file on your disk.

2、Click “Next” to display the directory under which the certificate
file is saved.

3. Click “Next” and enter the password you set.

Notes: If you select “Mark this pass key as importable. This will allow you to back up or transmit
the pass key later,” you may use the computer to import the certificate.
We recommend that you should not make this selection after
you back up the certificate. This way, you may not use the computer
to import the certificate, and if you need to use the certificate
on another computer, you should use you back-up copy.
4. Click “Next”
until the system prompts “Finished.”

After you successfully export the certificate, you may use
“Internet Options (Control Panels)—Content—Certificates” to verify. Then you may use the computer to access
the professional version of online banking.
