Features
of the Long Credit Card
Two Currencies; For Use at Home and Abroad
The Long credit card is a standard international
credit card that can be used both at home and abroad. It offers two currencies; domestic transactions
are settled in the RMB, and overseas transactions are settled in
the US dollar. The
Long credit card may be used in 300 countries and regions across
the globe, at over 30 million merchants, and at all ATMs and cash
advance outlets within the network.
Overseas transactions are settled in the USD at favorable
rates offered by MasterCard or VISA. The Long credit card helps to avert the
risk of carrying cash, and to reduce foreign exchange risks.
Pay after Consumption
Payment may be made
after consumption within the credit limit, and the grace period
may be as long as 50 days.
Revolving Credit
The credit limit is based on the applicant’s
credit history, and may reach RMB 50,000.
Within the credit limit, the cardholder may make purchases
or advance cash without approval procedures.
After a purchase or cash advance, the available credit will
decrease, but paying down the balance will increase the available
credit by the same amount.
In emergencies, the cardholder may apply for a temporary
increase in the credit limit.
Pay Overseas Expenses
with the RMB
After making purchases abroad, the cardholder
may purchase dollars with the RMB to repay dollar debts. The cardholder may choose to do so by
phone or by scheduling direct deposits.
Complex procedures may be bypassed, and the amount limit
on foreign exchange purchase is not applicable.
Select
a Password
The cardholder may choose whether to use a
password for purchases. (According
to international practice, it is not necessary to use a password
when making a overseas purchase with a credit card.)
The password may be changed on a CCB ATM that offers the
“change your credit card password” function.
