CCB Website Won “Most Reliable Banking Website” Title

Recently, in the 8th China’s Outstanding Financial & Securities Website award presentation ceremony, CCB’s website at www.ccb.com was awarded an overall grand prize (banking sector) and won the title of “The Most Reliable Banking Website”—yet another proof that it is receiving wide recognition from society.


This election activity was jointly organised by Securities Times and Shenzhen Securities Information Company Limited and lasted for more than two months.  In this activity, the election committee had adopted a combination of direct voting by investors nationwide and assessment by specialists and pundits and the weighted results were used to determine the ultimate list of winners.

CCB’s website is an important window for displaying CCB’s corporate image as well as a vital platform for launching various business promotions, marketing different products and for providing services to customers.  Winning this award signifies the full recognition of the effort towards the construction of the CCB website.  So far this year, with the “customer focussed” operating concept in mind, CCB has made numerous improvements in its website.  By actively benchmarking the advanced experience of domestic and overseas banking websites, it has adopted an all-new personificated style in its webpage designs.  In a bid to make the website more user-friendly, the homepage has become information orientated and functionally flat-structured, while areas for quick-assess functions, hot-selling products and financial information have been configured to help guide customers through.  In response to the hottest topic in China’s financial market, we have launched a one-stop service channel for funds in which an abundance of financial knowledge and fund information can be found and customers can make enquiries concerning funds distributed by CCB, compare net values and carry out online subscriptions.  This channel has caught the attention of the general public and has since become one of the most visited webpages in China.  Moreover, in cooperation with a number of merchants, CCB has added a new online shopping platform at its website.  Through this platform, customers can access a multitude of services such as buying of e-tickets and game cards, value replenishment of communication cards, etc, without having to logon to individual merchant websites.  Such an expansion of the customer service channel does not only offer ease and convenience, but also security and reliability.  Through the establishment of the “CCB Workroom” via CCB’s website portal, internet media and the forums of various major merchant partners, a dedicated area is given to online exchanges between customers and CCB’s “95533” customer service experts.  It is through this channel that much customer problems are solved and information on CCB products and marketing activities is disseminated.  So far, customer reaction to such interactive services has been very positive.  Figures indicate that, last September, the average daily webpage browsing rate of the CCB website had exceeded three million, which was among the highest figure in the industry and demonstrated that customer interest had further increased.
