1.Strategic Positioning
China Construction Bank Corporation Astana Branch （hereinafter referred as “Astana Branch”）is the first foreign bank to set up an operating institution in AIFC. Once CCB Astana opens for business, it will give full play to the advantages of CCB Group; actively support the bilateral trade and investment cooperation between China and Kazakhstan; provide high-quality financial services for China-Kazakhstan connectivity and capacity cooperation; and be committed to build a new platform for financial exchanges and cooperation between China and Central Asian countries.
2.Business Scope
CCB Astana will provide a wide range of services to corporate and institution customers, including corporate banking, financial market business, international trade finance, project finance, syndicated loan, investment banking business, aircraft leasing, fund management services, investment management and custody, etc.
2.1 Deposit: Demand deposit, Time deposit, etc.
2.2 Loan: Bilateral loan, Project finance, Syndicated loan, Aircraft leasing, etc.
2.3 International trade finance.
International settlement: Letter of credit, Collection and Remittance.
Trade finance: Trust receipt loan, Shipping guarantee, Confirmation of L/C, Packing loan, Export Negotiation/ Bill advance, Accounts receivable purchase, Forfaiting, Export collection loan, Export invoice financing, International factoring, etc.
2.4 Financial Market Business
Spot/Forward/Swap transaction of RMB against other currencies, RMB Interest rate swap, RMB wealth management; Foreign Exchange Spot/Forward/Swap deal, Interest rate swap, Option; Asset management; Interbank lending; Bond investment, Bond repurchase, Bond dealers.
