Mr. Liu Guiping, Vice Chairman, Executive Director, President, Mr. Liu has served as vice chairman, executive director of the Bank since July 2019 and president of the Bank since May 2019. Mr. Liu served as Vice Mayor of Chongqing from June 2016 to March 2019. From May 2014 to June 2016, he served as deputy general manager of China Investment Corporation. From January 2005 to May 2014, he consecutively served as deputy general manager and general manager of Fujian Branch, general manager of Shanghai Branch, head of the Retail Banking Department (Retail Product Department) of Agricultural Bank of China(“ABC”). From May 1994 to January 2005, he consecutively served as ABC’s assistant director and deputy director in charge of the Executive Office of Guangdong Branch, deputy general manager of Zhaoqing Branch, Dongguan Branch and Shenzhen Branch in Guangdong Province. Mr. Liu is a senior economist with special grants by the PRC government. He obtained a PhD degree in finance from Finance Department of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law in 2002.

 

Mr. Zhang Gengsheng, Executive Director, Executive vice president, Mr. Zhang has served as executive director since August 2015 and executive vice president of the Bank since April 2013, and served concurrently as chairman of CCB Asia since December 2019. Mr. Zhang currently also serves as vice chairman of Payment & Clearing Association of China. Mr. Zhang served concurrently as chairman of CCB Life from May 2013 to July 2018. He worked as a member of senior management of the Bank from December 2010 to April 2013. Mr. Zhang was general manager of the Group Clients Department (Banking Business Department) and deputy general manager of Beijing Branch of the Bank from October 2006 to December 2010, general manager of the Banking Business Department and the Group Clients Department (Banking Business Department) at the Head Office of the Bank from March 2004 to October 2006, deputy general manager of the Banking Business Department at the Head Office of the Bank from June 2000 to March 2004 (in charge of overall management from March 2003), general manager of the Three Gorges Branch of the Bank from September 1998 to June 2000, and deputy general manager of the Three Gorges Branch of the Bank from December 1996 to September 1998. Mr. Zhang is a senior economist. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in infrastructure finance and credit from Liaoning Finance and Economics College in 1984 and an EMBA degree from Peking University in 2010.

 

Mr. Lyu Jiajin, Executive vice president, Mr. Lyu has served as executive director since July 2020. Mr. Lyu served as executive vice president of Bank of Communications from January 2019 to July 2020. From May 2016 to January 2019, Mr. Lyu served as deputy general manager of China Post Group Corporation and executive director and president of Postal Savings Bank of China Co., Ltd. From December 2012 to May 2016, Mr. Lyu served as executive director and president of Postal Savings Bank of China Co., Ltd. From March 2007 to December 2012, Mr. Lyu served as executive director and executive vice president of Postal Savings Bank of China Limited (which was renamed Postal Savings Bank of China Co., Ltd. on 21 January 2012). From July 2005 to March 2007, Mr. Lyu served as deputy head of China Postal Savings and Remittance Bureau. Mr. Lyu served as deputy head of Post Bureau of Liaoning Province from February 2004 to July 2005, as deputy head of Post Bureau of Henan Province from March 2001 to February 2004, as head of Post Bureau of Xinxiang City in Henan Province from October 1999 to March 2001 and successively served as deputy head and head of Postal Savings and Remittance Bureau of Henan Province from May 1998 to October 1999. Mr. Lyu worked in the Board of Currency of Postal Savings and Remittance Bureau of Henan Province and Administrative Bureau of Post and Telecommunications of Henan Province from July 1988 to May 1998. Mr. Lyu is a senior economist. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in economics from Southwestern University of Finance and Economics in June 2014.

 

Mr. Ji Zhihong, Executive vice president, Mr. Ji has served as executive vice president of the Bank since August 2019. Mr. Ji was Director-generalof the Financial Market Department of People’s Bank of China (the “PBC”) from August 2013 to May 2019, during which Mr. Ji was concurrently Director of the Financial Market Management Department of the PBC Shanghai Head Office from August 2013 to May 2016. From September 2012 to August 2013, Mr, Ji was Director-general of the Research Bureauof the PBC. From April 2010 to September 2012, Mr. Ji was Deputy Director-general of the Monetary Policy Department of the PBC. From February 2008 to April 2010, Mr. Ji was Deputy Director (Deputy Director-general Level) of the Open Market Operations Department of the PBC Shanghai Head Office. Mr. Ji Zhihong is a Researcher. He graduated from the PBC School of Finance, Tsinghua University (formerly known as the Graduate School of the PBC Head Office) with a master’s degree in International Finance in 1995 and obtained a PhD degree in Economics from the Major of National Economics of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences in 2005.

 

Mr. Huang Zhiling, Chief Economist, Mr. Huang has served as Chief Economist of the Bank from September 2013. Mr. Huang served as Secretary to the Board of the Bank from February 2018 to May 2019. He served as the Chief Risk Officer of the Bank from February 2011 to September 2013. He served as the General Manager of the Risk Management Department of the Bank from April 2006 to February 2011. From August 1999 to April 2006, Mr. Huang worked consecutively as the director of the president office, the director of the asset disposal decision-making committee office and director of the asset disposal review committee of China Cinda Asset Management Corporation; from June 1997 to August 1999, he was the Deputy General Office Manager of the Bank. From November 1994 to June 1997, he worked consecutively in the Policy Research Office (Investment Research) of the Bank as the Deputy Manager of the Department, the Assistant to the Director (Bureau Chief) and the Deputy Director (Deputy Bureau Chief). Mr. Huang is a researcher. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in finance from Shaanxi Institute of Finance and Economics in 1991.

 

Mr. Jin Yanmin, Chief risk officer, Mr. Jin has served as chief risk officer of the Bank since May 2019. He has served as supervisor of CCB Financial Leasing since December 2015, a non-executive director of CCB Investment since November 2017. He has served as general manager of Credit Approval Department of the Bank from November 2014 to May 2019. From February 2011 to November 2014, Mr. Jin served as head and general manager of Guangdong Branch of the Bank; from March 2009 to February 2011, Mr. Jin served as general manager of the Corporate Banking Department and concurrently as general manager of the Small Enterprises Finance Service Department of the Bank; from August 2007 to March 2009, he served as general manager of the Corporate Banking Department of the Bank; from June 2006 to August 2007, he served as risk control director of Guangdong Branch of the Bank; from March 2001 to June 2006, he served as deputy general manager of Corporate Banking Department of the Bank. Mr. Jin is an economist and obtained his bachelor’s degree in infrastructure finance and credit from Liaoning Finance and Economics College in 1983 and obtained his EMBA degree from Tsinghua University in 2010.

 

Mr. Hu Changmiao, Secretary to the Board, Mr. Hu has served as Secretary to the Board of the Bank since May 2019. Mr. Hu has served as general manager of the Board Office of the Bank since December 2018. He served as the chairman of CCB Financial Leasing Corporation Ltd. from August 2016 to December 2018, general manager of Guangxi Branch of the Bank from February 2012 to August 2016, general manager of Public Relations & Corporate Culture Department of the Bank from March 2006 to February 2012, and deputy general manager in charge of the overall management of the Board Office of the Bank from June 2005 to March 2006. He served as deputy general manager of the Executive Office of the Bank from December 2004 to June 2005, deputy general manager of Credit Card Centre of the Bank from March 2003 to December 2004, and deputy general manager of Retail Banking Department of the Bank from July 2001 to March 2003. Mr. Hu is a senior economist. He graduated from the economic geography major of Peking University with a master’s degree in science in 1986.
